Bill Siegmund
Chief Engineer and Owner
Bill is a native of Hawai’i, born & raised on the island of O’ahu (get it – Digital Island!), and is a proud alumnus of the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa and NYU. For over thirty-five years, Bill has been a New York City-based producer and recording engineer specializing in classical music, podcasting, and radio broadcast. Bill is an active educator, having lectured at Juilliard, the Manhattan School of Music, New York University, Belmont University, the Institute of Audio Research, the Center for Media Arts, and for the Audio Engineering Society. He has been a voting member of NARAS and the AES for over twenty-five years. Bill now lives in Brooklyn and spends time with his family, listening to music, and playing as much soccer as his body allows.

Neve Jahn
Audio Engineer
Neve is a sound engineer and musician. Her experience recording classical artists includes work with the Pacifica Quartet, Katherine Needleman, Kevin Puts with soloists of the Metropolitan Opera, and a number of Baltimore new music ensembles and performers. She has also worked as a location recordist for a number of film and video projects, including Marji Vecchio’s upcoming Sandy Stone documentary Girl Island. Neve is a graduate of the Peabody Conservatory, where she completed degrees in recording and composition.

Will Salwen
Audio Engineer
Will is an audio engineer and musician born, raised, and still based out of New York City. He has a bachelor of music with a concentration in audio engineering from CCNY’s Sonic Arts Center and has worked at venues all over the city, from David Geffen Hall to Rubulad, and with ensembles ranging from jazz trios to orchestras, punk bands to pop singers and everything in between. In addition to his work at Digital Island Studios, he is the full-time broadcast mixer at Central Synagogue in Manhattan and works at Kaufman Music Center’s Merkin Hall, as well as gigging around the city as a freelance bassist and guitarist.
Will Salwen

Will is an audio engineer and musician born, raised, and still based out of New York City. Adam Morel
Assistant Audio Engineer
Before joining the team at Digital Island Studios, Adam worked with Wes Dooley, owner of AEA Ribbon Mics, Robert Anderson, Recording Engineer and Educator, of Anderson Sound Recording, and interned at the legendary Sear Sound Studio under engineer Chris Allen. Recently, Adam has worked on numerous sessions including recording setups for orchestras to small bands and post production. Adam also participates in after school programs for children, educating them in music and providing a fun learning environment. Adam is a Queens native who loves music and wherever it takes him.
